Smart Energy Control for Cellular Base Stations
In this groundbreaking project, we deployed an advanced IoT solution across thousands of cellular base stations, connecting a wide range of critical components, including backup batteries, smart power meters, HVAC controllers, and temperature sensors. Data flows seamlessly into a private on-premise platform provided by the client, enabling powerful edge device management and real-time analytics.The impact: Total control over energy usage, instant fault detection, and dramatic improvements in operational efficiency and energy savings.
Cotton Supply Chain Tracking – From Field to Export
We collaborated with an agricultural supply chain expert to assist the Israel Cotton Board in a nationwide project tracking cotton harvesting and bale wrapping. Each bale, wrapped in RFID-tagged nylon, ensures precise traceability from the field to the classification center. Using Hawk’s Eye edge units and RFID readers on cotton pickers, we captured and transmitted the RFID tag, timestamp, and GPS location of each bale to the Cotton Board for real-time logistics and analysis. This project enhanced bale reception, facilitated quick settlements with growers, and provided valuable insights to improve cotton quality, establishing a new standard for agricultural traceability in Israel.
Smart Pump Room Monitoring – Water Quality & Well Management
We collaborated with a provider of water pumping systems and resource management. Our involved delivering Hawk’s Eye edge units and a sensor kit to monitor quality from wells up to 35 meters deep, ensuring continuous measurement of water levels and real-time quality monitoring for drinking and irrigation. The units integrated with on-site pumps and meters for complete control, offering alerts for malfunctions or quality issues. The outcome is reliable and efficient water management that supports sustainability and operational continuity.
Smart Irrigation – LoRaWAN-Based Water Control in Calgary
Smart Irrigation – LoRaWAN Water Control in Calgary We collaborated a Canadian irrigation provider to modernize a legacy wired network for landscape, park, and golf course irrigation in Calgary. By deploying a localRaWAN network, each valve was connected to a Hawk’s Eye edge unit, enabling remote control and optimizing energy use for long battery life. The outcome: eliminated buried cabling, reduced failures, easier maintenance, quick installation, remote control, instant malfunction alerts, and significant savings in water and operational costs.
